What do you blog for?
Sunday, May 25, 2008Hi all, this is the first post for my brand new blog called Blog!Yes!Blog. This is my personal one and I hope I can post what I know about and learn what you know too.
Nowadays, many bloggers both full time and part time ones are trying to monetize their blogs through different advertising programmes such as Google Adsense, Yahoo Publisher Network, Oxado, AdBrite, BidVertiser or boosting their revenue through a lot of affiliate network like Chitika, CJ, WidgetBucks or even TTZmedia, a personal affiliate network run bu John Chow.
I am myself quite new to blogging work and trying to understand what should I write for and how to maintain this blog as a source of useful information, not a place where people can spam. Blogspot/blogger is a free hosting service provided by Google with a lot of features that other hosting providers could do. I can freely customize and add anything to my blog. Further, I will never be worried about space and bandwidth or I do not need to pay for about 6.5$/month to ANhosting, Bluehost ...to keep my blog running. Thanks Google for such a great service.
For the first six months of operation, I will try to make this blog a great source of information for all bloggers especially the newbies and try to become another John Chow or Darren Rowse in the next 5 years :-) I know both of them are now very famous on the internet and their income are very big too. No one knows that in the next 5 years, who will be ME?
Just to share a little information about me and my long term plan, hope to learn more from you all.
